Nitish Kumar sworn in as CM of Bihar for 4th time Nitish Kumar has sworn in as the Chief Minister (CM) of Bihar for the 4th time. Governor of Bihar Keshri Nath Tripathi administered the oath of office and secrecy to him at the oath taking ceremony held at Raj Bhawan in Patna. Along with Nitish Kumar, 22 Janta Dal United (JDU) Party legislators, including three women were also sworn in as Cabinet Ministers. PM Modi launches Soil Health Card  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a nationwide scheme to analyse the soil of farms in the country scientifically. The’ Soil Health Card’ scheme will be launched at a rally in Suratgarh town in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan. India ranks lowly 136 in World Press Freedom Index 2015 The Reporters Without Borders (RWB) on 12 February 2015 released the World Press Freedom Index (WPFI) 2015. In the WPFI 2015, India was placed at 136th position out of 180 nations that were surveyed worldwide in terms of press freedom. In the top of the list were three Scandinavian countries: Finland on the 1st position followed by Norway and Denmark. At the other end of the scale, Turkmenistan, North Korea and Eritrea were the worst performers securing the last places in the index.
