Amitabh Bachchan has appointed as the brand ambassador for campaign against Hepatitis B 

Union government has roped in Amitabh Bachchan as brand ambassador for its campaign against hepatitis B. According to latest World Health Organization (WHO) data, India has over 40 million hepatitis B infected patients (second only to China) and constitutes about 15% of the entire pool of hepatitis B in the world. Every year, nearly 600,000 patients die from hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in the Indian subcontinent.

Katsushi Inoue appointed as President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd

Katsushi Inoue was appointed as President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL). He will assume charge on 1 April 2015 and succeed Hironori Kanayama who is due to retire. Inoue was associated with Honda Motor Co for past 29 years.

Badal first CM to be conferred Padma Vibhushan

Parkash Singh Badal became the first chief minister to be conferred the second highest civilian honour Padma Vibhushan. The five-time chief minister, who is one of the oldest to head the state at 87, was conferred the award by President Pranab Mukherjee at a civil investiture ceremony held in Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.

Balbir Singh Senior awarded with Major Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award

The legendary Balbir Singh Senior, member of three Olympic gold medal winning teams, was honoured with a Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural Hockey India Awards. The award carrying trophy along with a cheque of Rs 30 lakh.
