Using one login id, you can access the course in any one laptop (or desktop) and in any one mobile (using the mobile app) at the same time. However this is allowed only for student’s convenience and in future, we can limit to just one login access at a time, irrespective of where you are accessing the course.
Further, while the course can be accessed from different laptops/desktops at different time, mobile app access is limited to just your personal device and you cannot login on a different mobile devices even at a different time i.e. even if you logout of one mobile device, you will still not be able to login into another different mobile device. (In the case you change your personal device or reformat it, you will have to get in touch with us and we will remove the earlier device from the database and only then you can login into new device).
NO. Videos and PDFs available in the course cannot be downloaded. You will have to access the, using the app/browser only.
In the android app, you can ‘save’ videos for offline (without internet) viewing. But you cannot access the saved videos and you can only play them in the app, till the validity of the course.

We do not have any provision for attending demo class because there are ample ways for you to experience our style of teaching before joining. Allowing demo access to live classes adds to the admin workload.
You can experience our teachings in any of the following ways:
1. More than 200 Concept Videos can be viewed on our youtube channel.
Almost all courses have the first few videos publicly available, both in our youtube channel as well as in the LMS, where you will be accessing the course. You can enroll in any course for free in the LMS and access the Free Lessons.
2. You can view recordings of a few of the actual live classes of CAT 2020 …
QA: Recording 1, Recording 2, Recording 3, Recording 4.
DI: Recording 1, Recording 2, Recording 3.
3. Finally you can take a refund, if not satisfied, within 5 days of joining. Payment gateway charges (approx 2-2.5%) will be deducted.
The fastest way to resolve doubts is to seek community help. Not only will you get responses much faster than a faculty can respond, but also get multiple approaches to resolve the doubt. Thus, we strongly encourage you to seek the community’s help before reaching out to the faculty.
We have a community on Telegram … once you purchase a course … you will be added to the Telegram Group. Whenever you face a doubt, please post your doubt in the group. Replies to your post, from community members, take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
If the doubt is not cleared by the end of the day, please tag a faculty member to the post. We, faculty members, browse through the group posts about twice every day. Based on our work-schedule and work-load, we will strive to reply to the tagged posts the next day.
During peak periods, there are hundreds of posts and it is likely that a faculty may miss replying to some tagged post (thought of replying to it and then got interrupted by a call or some other urgent matter). If the doubt is not resolved even by the next day, you can raise a ‘ticket’ by mailing us the doubt at hello@takshzila.com. Once a ticket is raised, the entire team is notified and you can expect a prompt reply from any faculty member. Tickets raised by students of Contact Programs will be given priority over tickets raised by students of Self Study course.
Contact Program students can also clear their doubts in Live Online sessions. However since time is limited in these sessions and there are other agenda for the class as well, we would urge you to get the doubts cleared through community help (on Telegram group) or offline interaction with faculty and only for sticky doubts which require live interaction and which cannot be resolved offline, resort to this option.
We have a no-questions-asked refund policy. You can ask for a refund before the end of 5th day, 1st day being the day of purchasing the course.
Payment gate-way charges (approximately 2.5%, rounded up to a multiple of Rs. 100) will be deducted from the amount paid, and the balance will be refunded.
Refunds are processed within 2 working days of receiving your requests. You will get a mail after the refund is processed. Certain payment methods (like UPI) allow instant refunds; for other methods the refund may take anywhere from a few hours to 10 days to be credited to your account. We have no control on this duration and it depends on payment issuing bank.
The refund will be credited to the same account that you used to make the payment.
Quite a few students purchase a course … they like the course and wished that had purchased an upgraded course (e.g. purchase one section and then wish they had purchased the bundle of all three sections; or purchase a Self Study course and then wish they had purchased the Contact Program). Few such students ask us for a refund for the already purchased course, with a plan to purchase the upgraded course.
If this is your idea of asking for a refund … you dont have to go the round-about way of taking a refund and then purchasing the upgraded course. You can just write a mail to us (hello@tiwys.in) that you wish to ‘upgrade’ and we will send you a payment link for the difference in price.
To get a refund, write a mail to refunds@takshzila.com. No other form of communication is acceptable.
Mention your login (email) id if it is different from the mail id that you are mailing from. And if you are subscribed to multiple course, mention the course you are seeking a refund for.
Live online classes are conducted on Zoom. We may also experiment with Microsoft Team. Both these allow two way audio & video communication. In a questions above, the one about demo class, we have given links to recordings of actual live online classes of CAT 2020, you can watch them to get an idea.
Post-Sales
Well, it is a little difficult to figure that out, so we are sorry. We are still in the process of making a Product Demo.
And to answer the question, you just have to swipe left/right on the video player
If you are using the android app …
Click the ‘refresh’ icon, located next to your profile icon in the top-right corner. Also log-out of the app and log in again.
If you are accessing the course in a browser …
Clear the cache of the browser. The short-cut to do this is … while the browser window is active, press cntrl+shift+del for windows os and cmd+shift+del for mac os.
Also, it is advisable that you use Chrome browser to access the course.
If problem is not sorted, log out of the app and log in again.
If problem is still not sorted out, try accessing the app in an incognito window.
Doing the above should most probably have taken care of the issue and the videos should play. However if the problem is still not sorted, we would recommend that you try again after 30 or so minutes. And if it still does not work, then raise at ticket from your dashboard.
We regularly keep adding more videos or exercises or explanation videos to the courses and while these newly added videos/exercises are encrypted, you sometimes get a legitimate ‘lesson under construction’ message, though this is very rare. And most of the time the issue arises due to cache files.
Currently (Nov 2020), for Algebra and also for Geometry, there are two courses … faculty in the two courses being different … one being Nishant and one being me (Chandra). Whenever Nishant records the other topics, there will be two courses for the other topics also.
We are providing two course so that students have a choice …… few students like Nishant’s videos, few like Chandra’s. With the two courses, you are free to learn from whoever you learn better.
The subject matter taught is the same …… think of it like …… in school we had different teachers for the same subject, but teaching different divisions …… here you have a choice, which division you want to be in.
The differences are the usual differences you will expect between any two teachers teaching same subjects, we don’t read out of a script. Different solved examples are taken by each of us and each topic is handled in the way each of us feel best. Each faculty has one’s own individual touch, one lays emphasis on one part, other on other part. But the differences are nothing that will hamper your chances at CAT. Just like two text-books have different presentation style and different set of questions, but then both teach the same concepts and both can be good.
So you need to follow just one of the two courses. And learn from the faculty you understand more.
The different number of Lessons in the two courses have no relevance, it is just how the videos are bundled into Lessons. The practice questions i.e. exercises and practice MCQs are identical in the two courses.
The android app access is limited to just your personal mobile device (mobile device here refers to either mobile or a tab). This is necessary to restrict the login id being shared between multiple students.
The mobile device used when you login in the app for the first time is recorded as your personal mobile device. Now, even if you logout of this device and then try to login into another mobile device, you will not be able to login. And you will get the ‘multiple access denied’ error.
In genuine cases …… e.g. you are changing your mobile device OR have reformatted your mobile OR are going to use a different mobile over the next few days OR logged in for the first time in someone else’s phone …… please mail us at hello@tiwys.in with subject as ‘change mobile device’.
We will remove the earlier mobile from your account database. And then you can login into any other mobile device. Usually we check our mails atleast once every 24 hours and hence the whole process should get done within 24 hours.
Please note that once you login in a new device, this new device will become your personal device and if you have to change it again, you will have to go through the whole process of getting in tough with us again.
Hopefully you have read the about the refund window – before the end of 5 days, starting from the day of purchase – in the Refund Rules.
Within this window, just write a mail to refunds@takshzila.com. No other form of communication is acceptable.
Mention your login (email) id if it is different from the mail id that you are mailing from. And if you are subscribed to multiple course, mention the course you are seeking a refund for.
Online payments require exchange of information between atleast 3 parties. And occasionally this exchange of information gets muddled up. However your money is absolutely safe.
The short story … if your money is debited but the course is not available in your dashboard, write us a mail at hello@tiwys.in, mentioning the email id used while making the payment. That’s it.
We will mostly read your mail within 24 hours. We will do the needful and get back to you. And if you need the long story …… read on ……
When payment process is started but money is not debited to you, at our end … the transaction shows as Failed.
When money is debited to you and is also credited to us, the transaction shows as Captured. In such cases if you have purchased the course off the shelf (v/s paying using a customised payment link), the course you purchased will be available in your dashboard right away.
However, there is a third possibility … money is debited to you, but the process does not get completed and money is not credited to us. It is in these cases that even though money is debited to you, the course is not added to your account and is not available in your dashboard. Such transactions are marked, at our end, as Authorised. And these Authorised transaction require us to manually ‘capture’ the authorised payment within 5 days. And once we manually capture the payment, we manually add the course to your account. Had we not manually captured the payment within the required period, the payment would have automatically be returned to you.
Read more about this at our payment partner Razorpay’s page.
