BSNL begins free roaming service

Public Sector telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigal Limited (BSNL) begins free roaming service from today as over 8 crore cell phone users will enjoy free incoming even while travelling outside their state. BSNL is also putting up 5,000 Base Transceiver Station (BTS) towers across the country to provide better services to its customers.

India’s largest private miner Vedanta Ltd headed by billionaire Anil Agarwal will absorb oil firm Cairn India in a $2.3 billion all-share deal to create the country’s largest diversified natural resources company.

Rohan Bopanna- Florin Mergea pair win Stuttgart Men’s Double Open title 2015

India’s tennis player Rohan Bopanna along with his Romanian partner Florin Mergea has won the ATP’s Stuttgart Open final doubles trophy in Germany. The Indo-Romanian pair defeated Austrian-Brazilian pair of Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares by score of 5-7, 6-2 and 10-7 to lift the title. This is the second title the two have won together, having won the clay court Madrid Open last month.
